Jason has a problem. He doesn't remember anything before waking up in a bus full of kids on a field trip. Apparently he has a girlfriend named Piper, and his best friend is a guy named Leo. They're all students at the Wilderness School a boarding school for "bad kids," as Leo puts it. Piper has a secret. Her father, a famous actor, has been missing for three days, ever since she has that terrifying nightmare about him being in trouble. Piper doesn't understand her dream, or why her boyfriend suddenly doesn't recognize her. When a freak storm hits during the school trip, unleashing strange creatures and whisking her, Jason, and Leo away to someplace called Camp Half-Blood. she has a feeling she's going to find out, whether she wants to or not. Leo has a way with tools. When he sees his cabin in Camp Half-Blood, filled with power tools and machine parts, he feels right at home. But there's weird stuff, too-like the curse everyone keeps talking about, and some camper who's gone missing. Weirdest of all, his bunkmates insist that each of them-including Leo-is related to a god. Does this have anything to do with Jason's amnesia, or the fact that Leo keeps seeing ghosts?
Jason has no memory and ends up at camp half blood with piper McLean( daughter of Aphrodite and Jason's girlfriend) and Leo( son of Hephaestus and Jason's friend) embark on a journey to save a Greek goddess Hera from a giant
Leo, Jason, and Piper are friends far from normal and embark on a awesome quest to save the Greek goddess Hera from a giant and revenge hungry Titan Gaia.
This Book was phenomenon! This book revealed most of the secrets from the Percy Jackson Series. This book just brilliant! i had so much fun reading this book. I am dieing to read the second book. this book had so many secrets and so much action that i was devouring each word. Every page was full of shock and exicement! In this book, there were three young heros that found out that they each have an extrodinary past and they are each one of the 7 strongest demigods of the age. With the Titans defeated in the the Percy Jackson Series, the wrost is yet to come. this book was about the Roman and the Greek gods. As you read this book, you will be shocked by two extrodinary secrets. these secrets will make you heart jump out of your crest! if this was part of the Percy jackson series, i would pick this for the top book. Just amazing. Rick Riordan is getting better at his series. I 100% recomend this book. but before you read this book, you should read the entire Percy Jackson series.
Thisa book showcases three heroes Jason, Piper and Leo in there quest to please Hera and defeat the evil earth goddess Gea ( more prounounced in the second book The Son Of Neptune) as Jason tries to get his memory back and Annebeth searches for Percy this book takes you to amazing hights!!!! I reccomend it to anyone who has read the first serieas and i think this is a book for tweens teens and anyone in between!!!! Highly reccomended!!!!
The Lost Hero was written by Rick Riordan, who also wrote the Percy Jackson series. This book includes the same characters as the Percy Jackson series and some new characters. There is also a new camp for Roman half bloods. In this new series there are very interesting secrets to be discovered.
Jason lost his memory. All he knows is his name. He is sent to Camp Half Blood, the Greek camp for demi-gods. It seems very familiar, yet not quite right. Shortly after his arrival at camp, Jason is sent on a quest, with his new-found friends Piper and Leo, to save the kidnapped goddess Hera from the giants. Will he succeed in freeing the kidnapped goddess, or die trying?
Jason is awoken and finds out her girlfriend is piper, and best friend is leo while mother earth, gaia, stirs. As they go on their quest, not only to save hera, but to save piper's dad and face many monsters. They also meet boreas and aeolus on their way. festus, a bronze dragon, malfunctions on their quest. The seven "questers" are percy, annabeth, thalia, jason, leo, piper, and (i think) festus.
After Percy and his fellow demigods save Olympus from destruction, a certain "someone" goes missing. And if thats not bad enough an enemy from the past awakens. Join three new heros as they strive to find the hidden enemy and try to regain the memory of their fellow demigod friend.

"Let's come to order," Chiron said. "Lou Ellen, please give Miranda her nose back. Travis, if you'd kindly extinguish the flaming Ping-Pong ball, and Butch, I think twenty pencils is really too many for any human nostril. Thank you." - Chiron. LVI, JASON
If Leo started spontaniously combusting every time he got excited, they were going to have a tough time taking him anywhere. Jason imagined trying to order food at a restaurant. 'I'll have a cheeseburger and- Ahhh! My friend's on fire! Get me a bucket!'. - Jason Grace. XXXVII, Jason
"And, hey, maybe you can fly, too. Like junp off a building and yell, 'Flame on!' " Leo snorted. "If I did that, you would see a flaming kid falling to his death, and I would be yelling something a little stronger than 'Flame on!' " - Jason Grace and Leo Valdez. XXVI, JASON
Leo whistled. "Allowance? Piper, your mom rocks!" "Waitress!" Hedge called. "Six double espressos, and whatever these guys want. Put it on the girl's tab."
"I am Cal!" the ox grunted. He looked very proud of himself, like he'd taken a long time to memorize that sentence. "That's short for Calais," the love god said. "Sadly, my brother cannot say words with more than two syllables-" "Pizza! Hockey! Destroy!" Cal offered.
"I don't Know if she's completely unkillable," he (Leo) said, "But she can not be defeated by toliet seats. I can vouch for that."
"Yo, Coach Supergoat, whatever you are-I just fell down the freaking Grand Canyon! Stop asking for challenges!"
You named him Festus? You know that in Latin, 'festus' means 'happy'? You want us to ride off to save the world on Happy the Dragon?" ~jason
“I want some time without you organic life forms" -Leo
“You must forge your own path for it to mean anything.”

Best so far but still is very dull
I enjoy his books because of the modern mythological twists! I highly adore this series and the Percy Jackson series! Rick Riordan did a fantastic job at portraying the thoughts and feelings of teenaged demigods! Waytogo Mr. Riordan!
The Lost Hero is equally funny and action-packed. Even if you haven't read Percy Jackson and the Olympians, you should still be able to enjoy it somewhat, though there will be little mentions of other characters and things like that that you wouldn't understand as well.
TOTALLY FREAKING COOL BOOK!
its a really great book ! im waiting for "the house of hades"!
mmmmmmm..... Satisfying!!!
Amazing book! I like Piper's traits and I would give anything to be a daughter of Aphrodite! However, I hate the part where Percy is missing. My favourite character... Nevertheless, the addition if new characters- Jason, Leo, Piper is great.
Rick Riordan has surprised me yet again with his fabulous book! Best book ever! :)
WOW Rick Riordan has amazed me again with his take on mythology. Leo Jason and Piper are on a mission... This is the continuation to the very much loved Percy Jackson series... This novel was a great way to start this new series.. :) <3 I so Love Percy Jackson and Greek Mythology.
